Collab Rats
Collab Rats is a job matching app for people looking for work and the employers trying to hire them. It pairs candidates with roles that fit their skills, goals, and the way they like to work, then gives both sides a way to talk before anyone commits.
The problem
Most job boards bury you in listings that have little to do with your background. You scroll for an hour, apply into a void, and hear nothing back. Employers face the mirror image. They post a role and sort through a stack of applicants who read the title and skipped the fit. Both sides burn time on matches that were never going to work. Collab Rats narrows the field before the first message goes out.
What we built
- Personalized job matches that read a candidate's profile, skills, and preferences, then surface roles that fit
- A professional profile where you present your experience, projects, and portfolio in one place
- Direct messaging so candidates and employers can talk through a role before an application goes in
- An employer dashboard for posting jobs and managing applicants
- Talent targeting that points recruiters toward candidates whose goals line up with the opening
How we worked
You worked with the engineers who wrote the code. Every week we shipped a build you could open on your phone and use. Your feedback went to the team that could act on it, with no account manager relaying notes in the middle. The people who built Collab Rats are the people who maintain it.
The outcome
Collab Rats shipped to Google Play under AppCrew Technologies. It sits in the Productivity category, carries a 12+ rating, and has passed 100 installs. The latest build went out in March 2026. It runs on Android, and the team that built it keeps it running.
