Continue Driving Agent

Every agreement, check sheet and damage report in one app

Continue Driving Pty Ltd hires out vehicles in Australia. Their counter staff needed one place to keep customers, contracts and vehicle condition records, so we built them a private mobile app. Only verified employees get in.

The problem

Vehicle rental runs on paperwork. Every hire produces a signed agreement, a licence check, a condition report before the car leaves, another when it comes back, and now and then an accident report. Those records scatter. Some sit in a filing cabinet, some in an email thread, some as photos on whoever was working that afternoon.

The cost shows up weeks later. A customer disputes a scratch and nobody can find the check sheet that would settle it. The same person exists three times under three spellings. A licence was checked, but the proof is gone. Continue Driving wanted staff to capture all of it at the moment it happens, on the phone already in their hand, and to find it again by customer.

What we built

  • Staff-only accounts. Sign-up runs through verification, so the app stays inside the company.
  • A home dashboard with running counts of accident reports, rental agreements and vehicle check sheets, plus the customers added most recently.
  • Customer profiles holding name, Australian phone number, email, address, licence number and a photo of the licence.
  • A customer detail screen that files everything against the person: documents, hire vehicles, photos and notes.
  • Rental agreements stored per customer, each tagged with the vehicle and the hire dates, searchable from the same screen.
  • Delivery check sheets for recording vehicle condition before a hire and after it.
  • Accident reports on a structured form, so incident details arrive in the same shape every time.
  • Account controls for each staff member: edit profile, change password, notification settings, two-factor authentication, delete account.

How we worked

We ship a build every week that the client can install and use. Feedback goes to the engineers who wrote the code, with nobody in between to translate it. When Continue Driving told us a screen did not match how the counter actually works, the person who could change it heard it that day. The team that built the app is the team that maintains it.

The outcome

Continue Driving Agent is live on Google Play in the Business category, built for Australian operations down to the +61 phone entry. Staff run customer onboarding, rental agreements, delivery check sheets and accident reports from it. Access stays locked to verified employees, which is what an internal tool holding licence photos and customer addresses should do. AppCrew still maintains it. The most recent release went out on 8 October 2025.

We used to run hires out of a paper folder and whatever photos were on someone's phone. Now the agreement, the check sheet and the licence all sit against the customer, and anyone on shift can pull them up in seconds. The AppCrew team asked how our counter actually works before they wrote a line of code, and you can see it in the app.
