DFW Deal Maker is the mobile home for the Deal Maker DFW real estate community. Investors, entrepreneurs, and first-time buyers across the Dallas-Fort Worth area use it to find meetups, reserve a spot, and meet the people who close deals.
The problem
Real estate moves through relationships. In Dallas-Fort Worth, the deals happen at meetups, workshops, and private Q&A sessions where investors trade leads and raise capital. That community lived across email threads, a Facebook group, and word of mouth. Members missed events they wanted to attend. Newcomers had no clear way in. Organizers had no single channel to reach the people who show up. You needed one place to see what was happening and claim your seat.
What we built
- RSVP for in-person and virtual meetups, workshops, and networking sessions
- An attendee networking tool so deal makers, investors, and business owners can find each other
- VIP access with reserved spots, private events, and Q&A sessions
- An event feed with speakers, panels, and schedule updates
- Sponsor and partner listings for the businesses backing the community
- A perks section for discounts, giveaways, and event-specific offers
- A personalized digital nametag for each member
- VIP resources, including exclusive content, the Facebook group, and member offers
How we worked
You saw a working build every week and used it the way your members would. Your feedback went to the engineers who write the code, so a request on Monday showed up in the next build. The team that built the app maintains it. No account managers sit between you and the people shipping the work.
The outcome
DFW Deal Maker is live on Google Play in the Business category. It runs on Android for the Deal Maker DFW community, and AppCrew maintains it. Members RSVP, network, and track events from their phones. The app shipped its most recent update in May 2025.
